It was a really early start to photograph a wedding at Lyde Court in Hereford. I was meeting Elaine and Gareth at the five star Castle Hotel in the centre of Hereford, and after a few hours documenting the start of their wonderful day, they were driven away by two London taxi’s for the 10 min trip to the church. Following a wonderful service and some dodgy confetti throwing, it was onto Lyde Court, where the guests were spoilt with fine canapes and wines in the garden. Chef prepared home made pie and mash for the wedding breakfast, which was served in the stunning hall. As the evening closed in, the fire pit was lit to continue the laid back party theme…… Then the BEST ever first dance I have seen, “Up Town Funk”. Elaine and Gareth had been secretly practising all year to create a bit of comedy magic for their guests.
Please enjoy the photos and story of their day………X Dave
