Had a long chat with Nikki and Matt on speaker phone in the week leading up to their big day. All their final plans had fallen into place and they were really looking forward to seeing it all come together on Saturday, followed of course, by their honeymoon to Thailand. The big day soon arrived! Nikki and the bridal party were getting ready in the Pencoed House Cottage, and I was greeted with home made chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. The girls had set up with make up and hair, and the bridal preparations were in full flow. I managed to squeeze a cup of tea out of dad, and set up to photograph the dress and shoes, and the all important details, including the homemade ring box made by Nikki’s sister Gemma. Gemma had played a big role in the wedding, creating not only the ring box, but also the stunning table decorations. Apparently her house looked like a Blue Peter set the week before the wedding. The staff at Pencoed House Estate were more than happy to let Gemma take the lead in decorating the room and organising the flowers and table settings.
