Wedding Photographer South Wales
As a Wedding photographer in South Wales my one and only aim on your big day is to document the wedding as naturally as possible. Seeking out the light to tell the story has it unfolds, From bridal preparation right up to and including your first dance.
I have been lucky enough to have photographed weddings at all the major wedding venues in Cardiff and South Wales, so you can use my experience to help your big day run smoothly. I like to work in a natural and contemporary style reflecting today’s modern approach to wedding photography, and I’m known for my warm friendly nature and keen eye for detail.
On your day I work in a relaxed style, shooting with a telephoto and portrait lens to get the natural shots as your day happens. And i promise not to say “cheese” or insist the ushers pick the bride up as i try to be as creative as possible. It helps that I am assisted by a second photographer, as this is a great way to free up my time, allowing me to concentrate on taking those all important natural shots. It also means that I can cover the bridal preparations, whilst my assistant captures the groom and guests arriving at your venue.
Please take a couple of minutes to read below as I have put together the most asked questions when meeting Brides for the first time. Please contact me here if i have missed any
What if I lose my USB of photos in years to come? Then if possible i will send you one again.
Will you be the one shooting my wedding? Yes of course, And my regular assistant has a degree in documentry photography.
I then spend 2-3 days editing the photos.
What if my day overruns? Then it’s not your fault, and I will stay until the job is done. You just relax and enjoy it.
How long do you stay, what’s an average day? Usually about 2 hrs before the service to photograph the bridal preparations, and going through to 1-2 dances after the first dance
Can you video my wedding service? Yes we love filming and can put together a wedding highlights film for you at a small extra cost.
Do you require a deposit? There is a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The balance can be paid at any point, up to one month, prior to your wedding day.
How much work is involved in photographing my wedding? Approx 45 – 55 hrs work.
How long will it take to receive our photographs? The average editing time is between 7 – 10 days.
How do we receive the photographs? You’ll receive all the edited photographs on a USB folio, with a copy both in full-resolution for printing, as well as low resolution versions, for easy web uploads/social media sites such as facebook.
How do you describe your photographic style? My style concentrates on capturing the moments and details of your day in a mainly photo-journalistic / natural way as the day unfolds. If it fits in with your plans, then I also like to take the bride and groom for twenty minute private photo shoot. This will also allow you to have a few quiet moments and enable us to get a selection of beautiful photographs of you together.
Are you insured? Yes of course, for your peace of mind, as well as mine. I would not go anywhere as a photographer without insurance.
What cameras & equipment do you use? I shoot with Canon 5d mark 3s and L prime lens. I use the best (and consequently very expensive) camera bodies and lenses available. I also bring back ups.
How can we book you? If you are interested in booking, please simply e-mail and let me know, the date of the wedding and a little bit about your big day
PLEASE text me if you want an immediate reply and i can check if your date is free. 0789 43 47 141
